In his first address in Varanasi the Prime Minister focused on the needs and challenges of the textile sector in a city where weaving is a dominant occupation. He laid the foundation stone of a Trade Facilitation Centre in the outskirts of the city and advised weavers to take the help of technology to improve production, design and service and meet the demand of a growing global market.
